The JBL Control 424C/T is a two-way coaxial ceiling loudspeaker incorporating a 4-inch woofer within an integrated enclosure designed for installation in standard ceiling plenum spaces. It features Coplanar Relative Bi-Radial Intensity (CRBI) technology, providing a uniform 130° coverage angle that improves sound dispersion by minimizing on-axis peaks and off-axis dips. The speaker includes an internal transformer compatible with 70V/100V distributed audio systems as well as low-impedance configurations. Mechanical design enhancements include terminal covers with both top and side cable entry ports, secured by captive hand-screws, and a dogear mounting system adaptable to a range of ceiling thicknesses.
