The Hosa DMX-306 is a 6-inch DMX512 adapter cable designed to connect a 3-pin DMX lighting controller output to a 5-pin DMX fixture input. Constructed with 110-ohm DMX/RDM-grade cable, it features oxygen-free copper (OFC) conductors for accurate data transmission, a high-density OFC braided shield for superior EMI and RFI rejection, and strain-relieved XLR connectors for durability. This 3-conductor design provides compatibility with standard DMX512 control while omitting the optional secondary data channel, making it an essential tool for bridging 3-pin and 5-pin DMX ecosystems in stage, event, and permanent lighting installs.
