The Ashly MA500.8 is an 8-channel, multi-mode power amplifier delivering 500 watts per channel at 2, 4, or 8 ohms, as well as at 70V or 100V operation. Each channel can be independently configured for low-Z or high-Z use, making it ideal for both distributed audio and direct-drive speaker applications. Featuring Ashly’s D-MAX Class-D design, AI-driven intelligent power sharing across groups of four channels, and the ability to bridge channels for up to 1000W output, the MA500.8 provides outstanding flexibility and efficiency. The advanced power supply uses Silicon-Carbide switches with Dynamic Power Factor Correction, ensuring low noise, stability, and reduced current draw — allowing multiple amplifiers to operate on a single 20A circuit. With built-in high-pass filters, clip limiters, SailFlow directed cooling, and comprehensive protection circuitry, the MA500.8 is a reliable choice for large-scale AV installs.
