The TH118XL-T-EDM is a tapped horn subwoofer designed for both indoor and outdoor applications. It features a tapped horn enclosure that increases the driver's acoustic output by effectively doubling it, resulting in higher sound pressure levels with lower input power. This subwoofer is equipped with a high-power handling driver, enabling it to deliver extended low-frequency performance.
The cabinet includes interlocking skids on the top and bottom, facilitating stable stacking with additional TH118XL-T-EDM units or SH96/96HO models to increase output capacity. The design allows the TH118XL to replace two standard 2×18-inch front-loaded subwoofer cabinets, reducing system size, cost, and amplifier requirements for a given output level.
