JBL-MTC-419MR | MUD RING BRACKET FOR CONTROL 419CS/T

The JBL-MTC-419MR Mud Ring Bracket is an optional pre-installation bracket designed for use with Control 419CS/T series loudspeakers. It facilitates installations into gypsum board by providing a mounting bracket that secures wiring behind the sheetrock before the board is installed. The bracket also serves as a cutout template for multiple installations and reserves a speaker location in the ceiling.

The bracket includes a circular offset that functions as an edge guide for plastering the sheetrock, allowing for a seamless cutout. It has wings that attach to the building structure. The sheetrock hole is typically cut using the circular edge of the bracket as a guide and then plastered flush to the bracket surface.
