VLA-C-SB2 is a two-way full-range loudspeaker featuring dual 10" low-frequency Differential Drive® drivers (model 2261) with 3" voice coils. The high-frequency section includes three D2415 drivers equipped with 1.5” diameter annular diaphragms, 1.5” voice coils, and neodymium magnets, housed in a horn-loaded design to optimize sensitivity and directional control.
The enclosure is constructed from multi-layer reinforced fiberglass with steel end panels. The grille consists of zinc-plated, powder-coated 14-gauge perforated steel backed by acoustically transparent black grill cloth, a hydrophobic mesh underlayer, and a waterproof rail system. The integrated rigging system allows for inter-box angle adjustments during array assembly; additional accessories include a rigging frame, pull-back bar, and a cardioid kit for the subwoofer.
