Model 8A50 is an 8-inch 50W coaxial driver, the flagship of Lowell's A-Series drivers with greater power handling, lower distortion, and smoother musical sound than standard commercial drivers. It's ideal for venues where listening is a key part of customer experience such as in restaurants, hotel lobbies, retail outlets, etc. The driver features a 20 oz. LF magnet, 1.4-inch copper voice coil, polyproylene cone with half-roll rubber surround, post-mounted tweeter, and stamped 20-gauge steel frame with zinc plated backplate. Order grille and enclosure separately.

• Description: A 20oz. LF magnet coupled with 1.4 inch copper voice coil drive a polyproylene cone with half-roll rubber surround for long cone travel and good edge damping. The post-mounted tweeter is a 1 inch balanced-drive dome protected by Ferrofluid and a first-order high-pass filter.
