The AtlasIED A-XLR-B is a remote XLR input accessory designed for seamless integration with Atmosphere™ digital audio processors. It provides a clean, wall-mounted XLR input point for microphones or line-level sources in commercial audio installations. Powered directly via the host processor, the A-XLR-B features automatic device discovery, secure device-to-processor communication, and simple plug-and-play configuration. Its sleek Decora-style form factor blends into modern interiors, while the rugged front-panel XLR connector ensures long-term reliability in conference rooms, hospitality spaces, classrooms, houses of worship, and multipurpose venues requiring convenient, distributed input locations. Compatible with all AtlasIED Atmosphere processors (AZM series), it allows integrators to extend audio input flexibility while maintaining system-wide control and routing through the Atmosphere platform.
The AZM will automatically detect the A-XLR and dynamically assign appropriate audio settings, such as dynamics, EQ, auto gain control, and phantom power, to that input. Each Atmosphere accessory is a plug-and-play, intelligent device, specifically designed to be approachable and intuitive. The Atmosphere accessory bus allows for up to 8 devices to be connected to a single accessory port, reliably sending audio and data over 1000ft per port. Up to 1x audio input accessory can be added to each accessory port.
Use: Ideal for distributed audio systems using the AtlasIED Atmosphere platform where local microphone or source input is needed. Best used in conference rooms, meeting spaces, hospitality venues, education facilities, worship spaces, and anywhere customers need a clean, wall-mounted XLR input tied to an Atmosphere DSP. Integrates directly with AtlasIED Atmosphere processors, providing automatic recognition and optimized workflow for routing, priority settings, gain structure, and scene control.
