The AtlasIED AM1200 is a compact, self-contained sound masking system designed to improve speech privacy and reduce distractions in open office environments, healthcare facilities, call centers, and other spaces requiring controlled acoustic conditions. It features an integrated 2-speaker array, internal amplifier, and onboard sound masking generator, eliminating the need for external processors or additional hardware. The AM1200 includes selectable EQ curves, adjustable output levels, and simple onboard controls for tailoring masking performance to the room environment. UL 2043 certification allows the unit to be safely installed in air-handling spaces such as drop ceilings or plenum-rated areas. Designed for quick deployment, the AM1200 provides a ready-to-install, all-in-one approach to sound masking with reliable coverage and consistent performance in professional commercial applications.

AM1200 Sound Masking System features a compact enclosure utilizing two efficient wide range 2" x 4" speakers that are powered by an internal 12W amplifier. Selectable white and pink analog sources are incorporated to allow maximum masking design flexibility and a variable high cut filter contours the masking noise to the appropriate environment. The AM1200 also features an external 12 Watt 70.7V amplifier output to drive other 70.7V speakers, such as the AtlasIED M2000-SM transducer, making it ideal for small installations that require a self-contained masking system. Four mounting holes on the chassis make installation flexible as the AM1200 can be mounted to the wall or ceiling, or if you need a single suspension point, two removable hanger brackets are included.

Use: Ideal for facilities that need a single-zone, turnkey sound masking solution without external DSP.  Integrates well with existing AtlasIED infrastructure, including additional sound masking generators, amplifiers, or speakers for expanded multi-zone designs. A strong fit for projects where UL2043 plenum approval is required for overhead installation.
