The AM5212/64 is a medium power, lightweight, 2-way, full-range loudspeaker system. It features a JBL Differential Drive dual voice coil and dual magnetic gap 262H-1 low frequency driver with a 300 mm (12 in) diameter. The high frequency driver is a 2408H-1 compression driver with a 38 mm (1.5 in) exit and a 38 mm (1.5 in) voice coil. The loudspeaker uses a large format PT Progressive Transition waveguide that provides dispersion coverage of 60° horizontal by 40° vertical. The waveguide is rotatable, allowing use in either vertical or horizontal orientation. High-slope passive crossover networks minimize frequency band overlap. The design offers controlled off-axis response to optimize array configuration.
