The AM5215/95 is a two-way, full-range loudspeaker system featuring a 380 mm (15 in) low-frequency driver and a 38 mm (1.5 in) exit compression driver. The low-frequency driver uses JBL Differential Drive technology with dual voice coils and dual magnetic gaps (model 265H-1). The high-frequency section employs a 2408H-1 compression driver with a 38 mm (1.5 in) voice coil. The loudspeaker integrates a large format PT Progressive Transition waveguide, providing coverage patterns of 90° horizontal by 50° vertical. The waveguide is rotatable, allowing the loudspeaker to be configured in either vertical or horizontal orientation. The system includes high-slope passive crossover networks designed to minimize frequency band overlap. Off-axis frequency response is controlled to facilitate array configurations.
