The AW266 is a high-power, lightweight, two-way full-range loudspeaker system designed for all-weather use. It features a 12-inch (300 mm) low-frequency driver with a dual voice coil and dual magnetic gap JBL Differential Drive 2262H and a 1.5-inch (38 mm) exit, 3-inch (75 mm) voice coil compression driver 2432H for high frequencies. The loudspeaker includes a large-format Progressive Transition waveguide providing a 60° by 60° coverage pattern and can be mounted in either vertical or horizontal orientation. The enclosure is constructed from multilayer glass composite with internal bracing to enhance low-frequency performance.
The AW266 is equipped with a 400 W, 70/100 V transformer and features a 14-gauge stainless steel baffle backed by open-cell foam and stainless steel mesh for environmental protection. A heavy-duty, weather-treated U-type mounting bracket is included, allowing for installation on flat surfaces or in 90° corners.
