The AW266-LS is a high-power, lightweight, two-way, full-range loudspeaker system designed for life safety applications. It features a 12-inch (300 mm) low-frequency driver employing JBL's Differential Drive technology with dual voice coils and dual magnetic gaps (model 2262H), and a high-frequency compression driver (model 2432H) with a 1.5-inch (38 mm) exit and 3-inch (75 mm) voice coil. The system includes a large-format Progressive Transition waveguide that provides a 60° by 60° coverage pattern.
The loudspeaker is sealed in LS models for protection and can be installed in either vertical or horizontal orientation. The design supports high power capacity suitable for all-weather environments. The LS Model has sealed parts.
