The AW566-LS is a high-power, lightweight, two-way all-weather loudspeaker designed for life safety applications. It features a 15-inch (380 mm) low-frequency driver with JBL Differential Drive dual voice coil and dual magnetic gap technology, model 2265H, paired with a 1.5-inch (38 mm) exit, 3-inch (75 mm) voice coil compression driver, model 2432H. The loudspeaker incorporates a large format Progressive Transition waveguide providing 60° by 60° coverage.
The AW566-LS loudspeaker system supports both vertical and horizontal mounting orientations. It is sealed on LS models and complies with the EN 54-24 standard for fire detection and fire alarm systems, making it suitable for life safety installations.
