The Bluesound Professional B400S is a 4-zone network music player tailored for commercial installations. Housed in a 1U rack-mountable chassis, it utilizes the BluOS platform to stream content from local storage and various streaming services, including those designed for commercial use such as SoundMachine, Custom Channels, QSIC, SiriusXM Music for Business, and Tunify. Each of the four stereo zones operates independently, allowing for separate content and control, or can be grouped into user-defined configurations with other B400S units or connected Bluesound Professional players on the network. Control is facilitated via PC/Mac, iOS/Android devices, third-party systems, or the optional CP100 wall-mount controller. Security features prevent unauthorized access, and the device supports playback from USB drives. Built-in DSP provides equalization and audio processing, with streaming over Ethernet ensuring reliable performance.
