DBD-503 | EDGE 8-CHANNEL ANALOG SNAKE DB25 TO SAME, 3M

DBD-503 is an 8-channel analog audio snake from the Hosa Edge series. It features 24 AWG (0.18 mm²) oxygen-free copper (OFC) conductors with XLPE (cross-linked polyethylene) insulation, providing low capacitance and thermal stability. Each channel is individually shielded with a 58-strand spiral shield to reduce electromagnetic interference and maintain signal integrity. The cable terminates in die-cast metal DB25 connectors, wired according to the Tascam D-Sub standard for compatibility with devices from Digidesign, RME, Yamaha, and other manufacturers.

The connectors include robust die-cast metal DB25 hoods for EMI shielding and physical protection. Breakout models use genuine Neutrik® XX-Series XLR connectors with black metal housings and gold contacts, designed for high durability. The cable construction prioritizes proven material specifications to support transparent analog audio transmission in professional studio and recording environments.
