Audix DN4 is a four-channel analog-microphone-to-Dante and AES67 interface designed to bring compatible Audix RJ45-equipped single-element microphones onto an installed audio network. Microphone audio, button contact closure, and LED status functions can travel through shielded CAT cabling, helping simplify conference-room and commercial AV wiring.
Each channel provides independently controlled preamp gain and filtering, along with 48V phantom power and balanced audio inputs with RFI filtering. The DN4 operates from an IEEE 802.3af PoE source and supports Dante Domain Manager, making it a practical microphone onramp for meeting rooms, classrooms, convention facilities, houses of worship, and other networked audio installations.
The compact interface is suitable for above-ceiling applications and includes mounting brackets for installation. It is designed specifically for compatible Audix RJ45-equipped single-element analog microphones, including DN4 versions of Audix ceiling microphone solutions.
