The Intellivox-DS180 is a self-powered loudspeaker array designed for active beam shaping in small, low-reverberation environments. It consists of twelve 4-inch custom loudspeakers driven by an eight-channel Class-D amplifier and powered by a switched mode power supply. The array can cover an area up to 25 meters while maintaining even sound pressure levels across the audience area. It includes surveillance functions compliant with Voice Alarm (life safety) standards. Control of beam steering, audio processing, and surveillance features is provided via proprietary WinControl software.
The unit’s compact array length facilitates installation in architecturally sensitive spaces. Low-frequency response can be extended through integration with a JBL subwoofer system.
