The Intellivox-DSX180 is a self-powered column loudspeaker array designed for active beam shaping. It features ten custom 4-inch loudspeakers and four 1-inch dome tweeters, driven by an eight-channel Class-D amplifier with a switched mode power supply. The system provides coverage up to 25 meters with uniform sound pressure distribution and includes surveillance functions compliant with Voice Alarm (life safety) standards.
Control of the beam steering, audio processing, and monitoring functions is managed via proprietary WinControl software. The unit’s physical design supports installation in environments with architectural constraints. Horizontal coverage at high frequencies is enhanced by the dome tweeters. Low-frequency response can be extended using compatible JBL subwoofer systems.
