Intellivox DS500 is an active beam shaping, self-powered loudspeaker array designed for speech intelligibility in reverberant environments. The unit features 32 custom 4-inch loudspeakers arranged according to a patented algorithm and driven by a 16-channel Class-D amplifier with a switched-mode power supply. The acoustic length exceeds 4 meters, providing long throw capability and extended control over lower frequencies. A single unit can cover an area up to 70 meters with an even sound pressure level.

The array includes integrated surveillance functions compliant with Voice Alarm applications and is controlled via proprietary WinControl software for beam steering, audio processing, and monitoring. The system's low-mid frequency control is designed for large, reverberant, and architecturally sensitive spaces. Low-frequency response can be extended with an external JBL subwoofer system.
