The Intellivox DSX280 HD is an active, self-powered column loudspeaker array featuring twelve custom 4-inch loudspeakers and four individually controlled 1-inch dome tweeters. The system is driven by a sixteen-channel Class-D amplifier powered by a switched-mode power supply. It provides a constant sound pressure level over distances up to 35 meters, with the possibility of extended range under favorable acoustic conditions. The horn-loaded dome tweeters enable vertical beam control and enhance horizontal coverage.
The unit includes built-in surveillance functions compliant with Voice Alarm applications and is controlled via proprietary WinControl software, allowing adjustment of beam steering, audio processing, presets, and monitoring features. Its compact design facilitates installation in architecturally sensitive environments. Low-frequency response can be supplemented by compatible JBL subwoofer systems.
