The Intellivox DSX280 HD is a self-powered column loudspeaker array featuring active beam shaping technology. It includes twelve 4-inch custom loudspeakers and four individually driven 1-inch horn-loaded dome tweeters, all powered by a sixteen-channel Class-D amplifier with a switched-mode power supply. The system provides a constant sound pressure level over distances up to 35 meters, with extendable range under favorable acoustic conditions. The dome tweeters offer controlled vertical beam steering and enhanced horizontal dispersion.
This array integrates surveillance functions compliant with Voice Alarm (life safety) standards and is configurable via proprietary WinControl software, enabling adjustment of beam steering, audio processing, presets, and monitoring features. Its compact design facilitates installation in constrained architectural environments. Additionally, low-frequency response can be augmented by an external JBL subwoofer system.
