JBL-MTC-424NC | NEW CONSTRUCTION BRACKET FOR CONTROL 424C/T

The JBL-MTC-424NC is a new construction bracket designed for use with Control 424C/T loudspeakers. The bracket is fabricated from flat sheet metal and includes wings for attachment to building structures. It features pre-drilled holes for nails or screws spaced at 16 inches (406 mm) and 24 inches (610 mm) on-center, with the option for installers to drill additional holes at spacings up to a maximum of 24-3/4 inches (630 mm) apart.

This bracket is intended for installation into sheetrock (typically gypsum board) before the sheetrock is installed. It facilitates secure wire management behind the sheetrock and serves as a cutout template for production-line style installations requiring multiple ceiling speaker cutouts. Once installed, the bracket acts as a guide for router-type cutting tools to create blind cutouts in the sheetrock.
