The JBL LA4-D is a 2RU, four-channel amplifier in the DSi 2.0 series designed for cinema audio applications. It provides bridgeable outputs and supports high-power-density operation at 2Ω, allowing a single channel to power up to four JBL surround speakers. The amplifier integrates Crown DSI Digital Screen Array technology with 32-bit/96kHz floating-point DSP and Crown DriveCore processing for improved power density, stability, and audio fidelity.

The LA4-D model includes both analog inputs and digital Dante/AES67 connectivity, supporting direct interfacing with Dolby Atmos systems without additional processing hardware. It features SNMP network connectivity for integration with theater management and cinema control systems. JBL Cinema Speaker presets are included to facilitate configuration, optimize audio playback, and provide equipment protection.
