LCT 81C/TM | LAY-IN CEILING TILE SPEAKER, 8" DRIVER, FOR 600MM X 60MM SUSPENDED GRID CEILINGS (SOLD IN PAIRS)

LCT 81C/TM is a low-profile ceiling loudspeaker designed to fit into a 600 mm x 600 mm metric suspended grid ceiling tile system without requiring tile modification. The unit has a depth of 103 mm (4.1 in) and features a 200 mm (8 in) dual-cone driver with a 25 mm (1 in) diameter voice coil constructed with a Kapton coil-former and high-temperature wire. The speaker has a sensitivity rating of 96 dB.

The loudspeaker includes a built-in 10W transformer compatible with 100V or 70V distributed lines and can also operate at 8ohms for low impedance amplification. Impedance tap selection is controlled via a rotary switch on the rear enclosure. The assembly provides two seismic attachment tabs and four mounting holes, one at each corner, for secure installation. The front baffle is white and perforated. This model is compatible only with 600 mm x 600 mm metric ceiling grids and is not designed for US 2’ x 2’ ceiling systems.
