The AtlasIED PM8SUB-B is an 8" black pendant mount subwoofer designed to add fuller low-frequency support to commercial background music and distributed audio systems without needing a floor, wall, or recessed ceiling subwoofer. Its pendant design makes it a strong fit for open-ceiling spaces, exposed beam areas, restaurants, bars, retail stores, hospitality venues, and commercial interiors where the audio system needs added bass while keeping the speaker layout clean and architectural. The PM8SUB-B mounts down-firing in a pendant enclosure to help provide wide, natural low-frequency coverage, making it a useful companion to AtlasIED PM Series full-range pendant speakers in high-ceiling or open-ceiling applications. With an integrated 60-watt 70.7V transformer, selectable 7.5W, 15W, 30W, and 60W taps, plus an 8-ohm bypass, it gives integrators flexibility for both distributed 70V systems and direct low-impedance amplifier connections. The included 3-meter cable kit and mounting hardware help simplify suspension from overhead surfaces, while compatibility with standard 3/4" ceiling fan hardware supports down-pipe installation when needed. Key performance specs include 46Hz–160Hz frequency response, 92dB average sensitivity, omni dispersion, and 150W RMS power handling in 8-ohm mode.
