A variation of the famous TH118, this subwoofer is equally useful indoors and out and produces extreme power on the low end. The tapped horn design takes full advantage of the driver element by doubling its output ability. The result is more volume from less input. Combine that attribute with the high-power handling of the driver and you have one of the most powerful subwoofers on the market. In fact, a single TH118XL can easily take the place of two standard 2×18-inch, front-loaded cabinets. The TH118XL also allows you to reduce overall cost and physical size while utilizing fewer amplifiers to achieve a particular output. Interlocking skids on top and bottom of the cabinet allow it to be stacked for even greater output. The skids line up with the SH96/96HOs for a very stable stack.
