The RDL TX-J3 is an unbalanced input transformer designed to combine stereo consumer-level audio into a summed balanced mono output for professional audio systems. It is a practical problem-solver for installations where a laptop, phone, media player, Bluetooth receiver, TV, computer audio output, or other unbalanced stereo source needs to feed a balanced line-level input on a mixer, amplifier, DSP processor, matrix system, paging system, or commercial AV rack.
With dual RCA phono inputs, a 3.5 mm mini-jack input, detachable terminal block output, transformer isolation, hum cancellation, and passive operation with no power supply required, the TX-J3 is a strong fit for commercial audio, presentation systems, classrooms, conference rooms, houses of worship, hospitality spaces, retail sound systems, and AV integration projects. It works especially well when an integrator needs to convert unbalanced stereo audio to mono balanced audio without adding gain, simplify source connection, reduce noise on unbalanced lines, and cleanly interface consumer-format audio sources with professional installed audio equipment.
