The Allen & Heath SQ-5 is a compact, high-performance 96kHz digital mixer powered by Allen & Heath’s revolutionary XCVI FPGA engine. Delivering 48 input channels, 36 buses, and 17 motorized faders, the SQ-5 combines touring-grade audio performance with installation flexibility in a streamlined footprint ideal for live sound, houses of worship, corporate AV, education, and broadcast environments.

Built around ultra-low latency (<0.7ms) processing and class-leading 96kHz audio, the SQ-5 provides pristine sound quality with 16 onboard mic preamps, 12 XLR outputs, 8 assignable soft keys, and a 7” capacitive touchscreen for fast workflow navigation. The mixer supports DEEP processing plugins without added latency, allowing engineers to integrate advanced compression and dynamic tools directly into channels and mixes.

Expandable via SLink for remote AudioRack and stagebox connectivity (AB168, AR84, DX168, GX4816, and more), the SQ-5 also supports Dante, Waves, and MADI networking via optional expansion cards. With up to 64x64 I/O over USB, it doubles as a powerful recording interface for multitrack capture and virtual soundcheck.
