The Allen & Heath DT168 is a rugged, stage-ready Dante-enabled audio expander offering 16 mic/line inputs and 8 line outputs. Designed for seamless integration with Allen & Heath’s dLive, Avantis, SQ, QU series digital mixing systems, as well as AHM, it provides high-quality remote I/O over standard Cat5e or Cat6 cable using Dante networking. Each input features Allen & Heath’s acclaimed preamps with 96kHz capability, while dual Dante ports allow for redundant or daisy-chain operation. Its robust metal chassis with rubber bumpers ensures durability for touring and installation applications alike. The DT168 can be rack-mounted or floor-deployed for flexible system design, making it ideal for live sound, broadcast, corporate AV, and installed audio environments needing scalable networked I/O with pristine audio performance.
Use Options: Ideal for portable applications thanks to its rubber bumpers and handle, it can be deployed on stage or installed mounted in a 19” rack or flight case using the optional AB1608-RK19. Use as a drop-in expander in any SQ, Avantis, AHM-64 or dLive Dante network. Best used for stage or remote I/O expansion in Dante-based systems. Ideal for live events, houses of worship, corporate AV setups, and performance venues where distributed network audio is required. Integrates seamlessly with Allen & Heath dLive, Avantis, and SQ mixers, as well as third-party Dante networks for flexible routing and system growth. Perfect for installers designing scalable digital audio infrastructures.
